Economic influence by media.
“Media started growing through tools like LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs and YouTube and transformed our way of living. The media is mostly used for the world’s economic development but not as an integral part of the therapist’s tool kit.
A recent study by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Consultants and Development International (DCI) has sponsored a closer look at the state of the media of Economic Development. In the survey more than 300 members were surveyed for their use of media through IEDC about the media and its economic influence their role in their organizational strategies and public relations efforts.
The survey results clearly show that the media is still a “new thing” for economic developers. While 57 percent of respondents had used the media in their organizational communication efforts and most of this use started only last year. In fact only 37 percent of those surveyed have the use of media for more than a year. Economic development groups are used just their feet wet with the media. Finally the economists expect a lot of innovations in the use of social media to see. For example there are many communities’ those are creation of digital ambassador “to discuss the benefits of life, work, health and mental illness in a particular region or community. These ambassadors are people who are followers of Facebook or LinkedIn connections to serve as a very credible advocate for local economic development efforts. This is how all used to say “Business in a country full of contrasts” with respect to our business.
